Street Sense cranks it up a notch!

Street Sense is getting fully cranked for his Travers effort.

He turned in a solid performances on Sunday by running by CP West midstretch in the Jim Dandy.

After being bottled up early and shifting to the outside for running room on the turn, Street Sense thereafter looked excellent. In fact he stayed closer to the early pace.

He looks like he is going to run a huge race come Travers day!

Street Sense working incredibly well

Street Sense has had 4 official works since July 2nd and each one has been better than his prior.

In his last work dated July 18th at CD he went in :47 2/5 and :57 2/5 seconds, getting his last 1/8th in a flat :10 seconds! That was the official work.

As he continued he finished out the 1-mile in fractions of 1:09 4/5, 1:22 4/5 and out the mile in 1:36 3/5 seconds.

He's eating lightning and crapping thunder as he heads to Saratoga!

Can he pull it off?

Do you think Gimme Credit can pull of winning The Poker Handicap?

He is a hard knockin' New York-Bred facing his toughest assignment yet.

He is razor sharp right now and is running a very favorable distance however he is facing some tigers in this spot.

He is my pick to take down the win but what do you guys think?
