Goodbye Rags to Riches

Sadly Rags to Riches has been retired.

In my view Rags turned in one of the greatest races I ever saw in beating the boys in The Belmont Stakes.

I mean it's one thing to beat the boys in a sprint or a basic route but to beat them at 1 1/2 miles and at that elevated level is a true feat.

She was game and she had a lot tenacity. She will be missed.

I hope her traits are carried over to her offspring.
