Quality Road Begins His Comeback

Quality Road turned in a nice effort in his first start of the year at Gulfstream today.

It will be interesting to see what kind of year/campaign he turns in as a 4-year-old.

For a change Quality Road will get the time and training he needs to try and get the race distances he will be asked to run as opposed to how he finished off last year.

Remember he was asked to get 1 1/4 miles in the Travers off a single 6 1/2 furlong comeback effort which was off a 3 month layoff?

Maybe his talent and ability will all come together and he will also be fortunate enough to stay healthy throughout the year.

If it all comes together for him he could turn in a very special year.
