Scat Cat Cashes in The Holy Bull

Hey Scat Cat, nice pick in the Holy Bull.

Do you think Winslow Homer is going to develop into a top Derby contender?

I thought Winslow Homer looked good. Dutrow seems to think he will like the longer distances so we'll see how he does in his next longer start whether he's a real derby contender. Not sure about Jackson Bend.

Winslow sure looked like a tiger this past Saturday. He is bred to go further and seems to have a great running style to get a longer distance. Didn't look like he was fully cranked headed into this race judging from his works so it appears there is more in the tank.
I thought Aikenite was going to run a better race. He got closer at the top of the stretch then he just flattened out.
Anybody have any other opinions on this race?

Looks like Winslow Homer is off the derby trail with a stress fracture. I'm interested in how Dublin does next out.

Tough luck for Homer. Looked to have untapped ability. Most likely will come back as a 4-year-old and on the grass.
