3-year-old preps analysis for February 27

Due to some nasty weather here in the east we won't be making selections at Aqueduct for this Saturday. However, I did look at the 3-year-old prep races for this Saturday and here I offer some analysis.

Santa Anita - The Sham:
Kettle River broke his Maiden on grass and followed that victory with another victory on Synthetics at SA. He is working up to today's race very, very well and should like the added distance. Outlaw Man has run 3 very good races showing some guts but on grass. Does this grass ability transfer over to Synthetics? I think it will and the Outlaw should turn in a very big effort today. Setsuko has a pretty strong closing kick and seems to be improving. Goes turf to Synthetics here and should be finishing strongly once again.

Turfway Park - The J Battaglia:
Kera's Kitten seems to have it all together now and will try to make the lead once again from a wide post. Today's stretch out shouldn't hurt his chances. Codoy has a strong late kick and will try to transfer his better grass ability to today's Synthetic surface once again. Question of how tightly cranked he is coming off the layoff. In The Paint won easily 2 back and had a terrible trip last time out. Possible he gets that golden-stalking trip on the inside till turning for home.

Sunland Park - The Borderland:
Tango Tango has faced better coming off of races at Santa Anita and Golden Gate. Figures to improve off his last start which was his only poor race after showing some guts in his prior 5 starts. McKenna's Justice seems to have more upside than most in here and has worked well coming in off the layoff. Strong late kick says he will be flying late. Storming Saint fits well in here despite the stretch out and has worked well for this return.

Fountain of Youth

The Fountain of Youth looks to be a tough race to figure out.

Buddy's Saint might be the most talented but doesn't figure to be fully cranked and or might need one off the layoff. This leaves room for someone to possibly jump up and take this race.

Aikenite, Jackson Bend and Positive Split are all capable of improving having had one race off their breaks.

Lost Aptitude goes first time on dirt and looks like the type that doesn't like to lose.

Looks like it is going to be a very hard fought race and a good race to build on for these derby contenders!

Valentines Weekend at Aqueduct

This is Valentines Weekend and we are thinking that cashing tickets this weekend at Aqueduct will be very sweet.
Several races seem very deep without standouts and this usually means some bombs will surely hit the tote board!
We had a great Saturday last and we expect to keep our incredible streak running smoothly.
The last 4 races comprise the Super Guaranteed $250,000 Pick-4!
After last week's results you will want to consult with us before clicking the bet button.

Quality Road Serves Notice

Yes, it's possible he can still be a gate scratch because he is a bit of a rogue and it's just as possible he can break a track record and still be in 2nd gear.

Quality Road is back to himself and he looks as if he will put together a very special 4-year-old campaign.

No more being asked to get 1 1/4 miles off a 6 1/2 furlong sprint coming off a layoff.

He will now be trained up to a specific race and distance and he will surely be something special to watch this year.

Can he go undefeated in 2010?

The snow stayed away from the track and made a lot of our clients very happy.
We had the first Pick-3 ending in race 3 paying out a healthy $992
We also took down the following Pick-3 ending in race 4 at $1,537
We also had the early Double at $127
We also had the following Double ending in race 3 at $260
and even the next Double ending in race 4 at $158.

Snowball Fight at Aqueduct

This Saturday I am not sure if there will be a Snowball fight at Aqueduct or perhaps just Horseracing.
If the horses do run your going to want to see who we are banking on.

Check out our stats. The numbers don't lie. We are on a roll and have been for a long time.

See you at the Cashing Windows!
